- 1cup pearl wheat
- 2cups Water
- 3tbs Sugar
- 3tbsp Raisins
- handful chopped toasted almonds(garnish)
- 2tbsp cinnamon(optional)
- Rinse the wheat.
- Place the wheat, water, sugar, and cinnamon in a pot on the stove, on a medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and allow to simmer (cook for about 1-1:30 hours)
- Wheat should be al dente (chewy, but tender)
- To serve add the milk (as much as desired) and sprinkle with the toasted almonds.
