  1. Fry the onion in the butter in a medium size saucepan.
  2. Add the wheat and fry on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the chicken stock.
  4. Add the salt, pepper and cardamom.
  5. Cook for 45 minutes or until the wheat is well cooked.
  6. Add some water if it become too thick.
