- Pour the cup of water or tepid milk in a large plate. Immerse the slices of firm bread in it, until they soften. Top every slice with sugar and little bits of almonds or nuts.
- If you want to, you can bake the slices topped with sugar to 180°for about ten minutes.
- Firm bread can be reused in many other delicious recipes. To soften the firm slices of bread, put them to soak in water or tepid milk for about ten minutes.
