  1. Peel avocado and put in a bowl. Rinse bulgur and add it to the avocado.
  2. Chop basil and marjoram. Add them to the avocado. Add salt, cumin, and lemon juice. Mix all and pour.
  3. Sprinkle sunflower seeds on top.

Together with his wife he runs a vegan restaurant in the Lebanese mountain where they serve food made from the land they cultivate.

Yes, because bulgur is a local product. Avocado is not a traditional Lebanese plant. It has been introduced to Lebanon many decades ago. It is nowadays much planted in our country and grows easily in our land. This recipe can be considered as an innovation to our traditional food.
